Having gone through the acquisition and sales process as online business owners ourselves many times, we realized there was a great need for an off-market deal flow service. So we built one.

John is an experienced entrepreneur excelling in establishing structured and motivated successful teams. He has owned and operated several businesses in brick and mortar retail, e-comm, and affiliate verticals. He was frustrated with options for business acquisitions. Great businesses listed on brokerage websites would quickly be under contract within minutes of listing. In a nutshell, there are so many buyers and so few businesses listed. Narrow that down to businesses fitting his criteria and the odds of landing a great acquisition were pretty low. The process just wasn’t right. As a buyer, no one was representing him in the process. When the opportunity to solve his own problem came along he jumped on it and launched Falcon River.

Tara joined Falcon River in June 2023 as the Vice President of Health and Beauty Acquisitions where she is responsible for the firm’s research activities and company identification in the health and beauty sectors.

Before Falcon River, Tara designed and managed her own sportswear apparel company, Kate & Tara, that sold through retail and wholesale distribution channels. Tara’s previous experience was in various roles at several Fortune 500 Companies including The Estee Lauder Companies and Jones Apparel Group. Tara has a wealth of experience and knowledge within the health and beauty space, and while at Estee Lauder she interacted with executives and sales managers at company-wide education events.

Tara graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Law Studies. She is a dedicated community volunteer particularly engaged in anti-hunger and poverty initiatives and the mother of four beautiful children.
